I hired on with Opies Transport back in March 1997 in Dallas, TX as a local driver. We have had our ups and downs but overall it is a great place to work. Here I am 25 years later and 4 years from retirement. Everyone here at Opies are good people from Danny Opie to the office and shop people. I am glad to be here.
Before making the move to Opies, I had never pulled a tanker. My previous company and drivers would tell me "pulling a tanker was dangerous due to the surge of the product and that the truck could easily be turned over." After I joined Opies I found that not to be true. I am going on my 8th year and I couldn’t ask for a better company to work for. Dispatch will get you home when you need home and the people at Opies Transport treat you like family.
